TVR is a British sports car manufacturer known for its lightweight and powerful cars.

Founded in 1947, the company claims to be the third-largest specialised sports manufacturer in the world.

However, the iconic British motors brand has a somewhat troubled history.

At the end of last year it was reported that TVR lost the rights to its new factory where it had plans to build a long-awaited sports car.

First unveiled in 2017, the V8 was left without a production line.
