The franchise will be taking over its sister brand after both were snapped up by an international giant.

Brayleys is a popular chain of showrooms across the South East, catering to thousands of drivers every year.

It already enjoys lucrative contracts with huge Asian manufacturers like Honda and Kia across London, Oxfordshire, and Bedfordshire.

Now, the firm is set to acquire nine new sites from West Way, expanding into the Midlands and North West.

Both Brayleys and West Way have been owned by AW Rostamani Group, a large Dubai-based company, since it purchased West Way in 2022.

The latter was originally owned by Nissan GB and supplied the Japanese carmaker's products through its dealership network.

As of the beginning of August, though, nine West Way showrooms have been rebranded under the Brayleys umbrella.

This includes locations in Wolverhampton, Birmingham, Manchester, and Oldham.

The move brings Brayleys' portfolio up to over 30 sites, with bosses planning further expansion in the near future.

"On a personal note, this is a proud moment to be expanding the Brayleys name further."

Despite the name change, the outlets are expected to maintain their relationship with Nissan and continue to sell its cars.

Csaba Vincze, network development director at Nissan GB, added: "We appreciate the rebranding exercise that the group has announced.

"A huge amount has been achieved over the course of Nissan’s long-standing partnership with West Way, as a result of a continued commitment on both sides.

"I would like to convey my thanks for their efforts over the duration of our relationship and I have no doubt that our partnership will continue to go from strength to strength under the new branding."
