A NEW state-of-the-art car warehouse has become the first of its kind, offering high-tech security including "fingerprint recognition" and "heat-activated sprinklers".
Drivers looking for luxury are in luck with SHY Automotive located only 15 minutes from Gatwick Airport, based in West Sussex.
According to the firm, the 50,000 square feet car warehouse offers the best "care, security, and discretion" for owners of top-value cars for £100 per week, per car.
The site boasts 24-hour security with 40 CCTV cameras - as well as fingerprint recognition to enter.
The facility is fitted with dual heat-activated sprinklers to protect cars from any fires - and humidity levels are maintained between 48 and 55 per cent to prevent any moisture, rust, or corrosion damaging vehicles.
Upon arrival, a record is created for each supercar - with its condition meticulously captured through SHY's custom camera array.

The vehicle then undergoes "thorough" preparation before it is secured on its own dedicated 2.2m x 4.8m 'bed' on a bespoke galvanised steel rack.
Each car will have its own drip trays and anchor point, as well as its own armoured power supply for required .
Clients can access their vehicles at any time Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm, or, out-of-hours upon request.
They can also make use of the luxurious offerings inside the facility - from the fully-fitted kitchen, to the 75-inch smart TV with an integrated Sonos sound system, to a boardroom fitted for meetings or other corporate events.

Daniel Wood and Desmond Boughton, co-founders of SHY Automotive, said their facility was founded on a single question: "You wouldn't put priceless artwork in a barn, so why would you do it with a car?"
