Geoff Thompson, a car YouTuber and Ian from Cherished Vehicle Insurance Services have chosen reliable and stylish cars, making the £5,000 price tag a steal.

The Saab 900 Convertible is a "great-looking" car with a dependable 2.0-litre engine.

A 1992 model with around 190,000 miles on the clock is on the market for just under £4,500 at Car & Classic.

This is a great price despite being slightly rough around the edges, as you can spend hefty amounts on these Saab 900s, according to car experts

Motorists don't have to worry about avoiding the Saabs with high mileage due to the car's sturdy engine.

However, the car expert admitted that they can be a "nightmare to work on".

There’s also the Volvo reliability which pretty much comes as a standard feature with their vehicles.

The one the  plumped for had 103,000 miles on the clock, so you can expect there’s plenty more life left for family outings.
