UK’s ‘most expensive caravan’ on sale for £1.5m has THREE bedrooms and sky deck – but you CAN’T use it whenever you want
A STATIC caravan is tipped to sell for a bumper £1.5million, making it the "most expensive" in British history - and it comes with a catch.
Holiday home hunters keen on the beachside abode in Christchurch, Dorset won't be able to live in it year-round.
This is because the caravan park it's located in - Sandhills Holiday Park - closes for owners in February.
The harbour home offers sea views over Christchurch Harbour and contains three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen-living area and sky deck.
But the new resident will need somewhere else to live from January 31 until March 1.
Despite its location, the caravan's price has caused a stir.

On a , one user said it was a "very nice static caravan", before sarcastically correcting themselves and changing it to "park home".
Another user said: "I cannot fathom how anyone would pay such a premium price for the most basic of comfort."
A third added: "If I have £1.5m as a pocket change, I wouldn't buy a glorified beach hut."
A fourth quipped: "That's astounding pricing. And not in a good way."
But defended the eye-popping price, some suggesting the property was "great for Airbnb".
Another user added: "There are places you can buy a beach hut for £400,000. This isn't surprising in the least."
Park Holidays UK, the company representing Sandy Hills, justified the price, describing "breath-taking panoramic sea views" and pointing out that it was still cheaper than houses in the area.
Park Holidays marketing boss Brad May said: "We are excited to learn that one of our owners is offering this remarkable lodge holiday home for sale at Sandhills Holiday Park.
"This is an exceptional beach-front holiday lodge with stunning views across the ocean to the Isle of Wight.
"The new owner will be taking possession of a real luxury bolt-hole which was specified by its original buyer with top-end decor, furnishings, and all mod-cons.
"Although this may be setting a new British record for the price of a holiday lodge on a park, it's still massively less than a similarly specified house in the Sandbanks area."
Smaller sea-front lodges start from £650,000, while holidays homes further back from the beach are sold from £124,995.
The marketing manager added: "We're sure this beautiful lodge will capture people's imaginations and will soon find a buyer!"
