Stunning classic Ford Capri stored in immaculate condition with original interior available for bargain price

A STUNNING classic Ford Capri which comes with its original interior and has been stored in pristine condition could be yours for a knock-down price.
The model, a 1984 two litre Pinto, is up for sale on eBay for just under £10,500.
Which could be quite the bargain considering that in May this year a Capri was on the market with a price tag of £71,195 – although it did only have 582 miles on the clock.
However, the ad for the Pinto doesn’t say what the mileage is.
From the though, it appears that the classic car has been well-looked after.

The bodywork looks to be blemish-free although has been fully repainted in yellow, while the grey interior, with cloth Recaro seats are the ones originally fitted.
For your money, you get alloy wheels, an AM/FM stereo, a sun roof, a wide body and Xenon headlights, according to the listing.
The seller says they have a full V5 logbook and the car has a 12 month MOT.
states: “Engine is standard Pinto with 205 block, 32/36 carb with upgraded air filter” and is fitted with an alloy radiator.
According to the current owner, the car can produce “a healthy” 107bhp.
While the car is the seller says they will consider “sensible offers”.
Earlier this month, another Ford Capri, with just 28,000 miles on the clock, was for sale for just £8,500.
Ghia was Ford’s luxury car-styling company at the time, mostly known for more plush interiors compared to standard models.
The was then “parked up for 35 years” before it was bought by the current owner - who rebuilt the Capri’s engine.
In January this year, a mint 1976 Ford Capri hit the market for a bargain £9,250.
The rare Mk2 Ghia Automatic comes in original white and has only 71,000 miles on the clock.
First produced in 1974 after the huge success of the Mk1 Capri, the Mk2 ran for four years and built by Ford to be more aligned to everyday driving.
It came with a shorter bonnet, larger cabin and a hatchback-style rear door.
The Capri model was later heavily facelifted with the Mk3.
The Capri was designed to be the Ford Mustang of Europe and became one of the most sought after cars in the UK.
Nearly 1.9million units were sold between 1968 and 1986, making it one of Ford's most successful models.
