Exotic-looking sports car with unique feature it shares with Lamborghini can be yours for under £9,000
PETROLHEADS can pick up an exotic-looking sports car that somewhat resembles a Lamborghini for under £9,000.
The modern classic Nissan 300ZX - a stylish Japanese set of wheels that was built between 1989 to 2000 in some territories - certainly has the flair of a retro supercar without the lofty price-tag.
The twin-turbo motor is an icon of Nissan's legendary Z-series, boasting a 3.0-litre V6 engine and complete with a quirky four-wheel steering capability.
This was only matched by its comfortable and user-friendly experience - and some drivers even described it as a "family sports car."
It looks good too, with an almost muscular-like styling that gives it a more aggressive look over its rivals of the time; the Mitsubishi 3000GT, Mazda RX-7 and Toyota Supra.
In fact, it perhaps closer resembles the Porsche 944, with Car Magazine writing in 1990: “The 300ZX really is like a Porsche 944 Turbo and 928S4 rolled into one.

Interestingly, from 1999 until 2001, the 300ZX used the same headlights, under license, as the much-heralded Lamborghini Diablo.
It had the inklings of supercar power too, capable of 276 bhp - enough to hit 62 mph in just over five seconds and a top speed of around 155 mph.
From new, the 300ZX was chided in the UK - where it was only available as a 2+2 targa - for its high asking price of around £35,000.
But these days, the 300ZX can be bought for a bargain price, with one currently available for £8,999 via .
This comes as an expert on modern classic cars recently revealed an iconic motor of the early 2000s as his new daily driver - dubbed "the most fun sportswagon money can buy."
And elsewhere, fans of Japanese sports car will be buoyed to know an icon of the 1980s could be reinvented by Toyota.
