THIS is the painful moment a learner driver fails their test for stopping at a red light, with just inches in it.
The unlucky motorist was caught in a moment of indecision, which sent her attempt off the rails.
Aspiring motorist Kellie took a mock test with Pin Binning, head instructor at , which was uploaded to YouTube.
During the course of her attempt, she was travelling along a main road and was instructed to turn right into a side road.
Initially, Kellie did everything right, signalling early, pulling into the correct lane and approaching the junction at a steady speed.
However, the junction was controlled by a set of traffic lights, with turning boxes just beyond them for drivers going onto the side road to use.

Just as Kelly arrived at the junction, the lights began to change from green to red.
In a moment of panic, Kellie tried to do the right thing and stop for the lights.
But by that time she was already too close to the junction and came to a halt a few inches over the stop line.
Pin explained: "As we approach the lights, they are green so Kellie decides to go.

"As we cross the stop line they change to red.
"From this position, Kellie had to go but decides to stop.
"In doing so, she blocks the crossing."
Unfortunately, this constituted a serious fault and meant that Kellie instantly failed the test.
It comes after another learner managed to fail her test before even setting off by missing a vital car button.
