A CAR expert has revealed a best selling Electric Vehicle with plenty of space that is perfect for dog owners.
The electric vehicle ownership company The Electric Car Scheme has shared the best new and used zero-emission models for dog lovers.
And the firm has recommended the Tesla Model Y. The EV features a 971-litre boot with all of the seats in place, which extends to 2,158 litres with the rear row folded flat.
The Electric Car Scheme also recommended the Kia EV9 for dog owners.
When the seats are down the boot the luggage space extends to 800 litres.
Thom Groot, CEO and co-founder of The Electric Car Scheme, said: "As a nation of dog lovers, it's no surprise that choosing an EV is as much about the comfort of our canine companions as any other specification.
"One of the most common questions we receive on a daily basis from customers is whether or not a certain model is suitable for dogs.
"As a dog and electric car owner myself, I can assure drivers that they can be just as practical as a traditional car and, in some cases, more so!"
A major car brand is set to open a huge ahead of releasing a £15,000 EV, which will be the UK's cheapest.

To display the model, the company is setting up a flagship showroom in West London.
The store, located at West Cross Industrial Park in Brentford, will open its doors on the same day.
At £14,995 it will be the cheapest all-electric model on the market in the UK, well under the £26,000 Vauxhall Corsa.
It's technically beaten by the Citroen Ami at just over £8,000, but that model is so small that it is legally categorised as a quadricycle rather than a car.
Customers will be able to flock to the site to get the first glance of the Spring, which has so far only been seen in preview pictures.
The space will be powered by solar energy, while fittings and fixtures will be made from recycled plastic, carpets and tyres.
Interested Brits will welcome between 2pm and 7pm to check out the new motor.
