RESIDENTS of the UK's "worst road for parking" claim things have got so bad that they avoid coming home from work, while neighbours get into fights over bays.
Locals complain of being trapped in their homes, while the police are regular visitors when disputes flare up.

People living on Phillmore Road in Birmingham claim that the area has been overrun with motorists, competing for too few spaces, and are begging for a one-way system to ease congestion.
Homeowners also struggle with fly-tipping, which only aggravates matters when potentially stopping spots are piled with rubbish.
John, a diabetic amputee who has lived in the street for 20 years, told : "Parking is terrible now.
"I have family who try and come see me, I have carers every day and it gets to a point they can't come in because they have to double park.

"They have had tickets so it is a nightmare."
He added that, since losing his leg in 2018, he has relied on ambulances to get to and from medical appointments.
The road can become so "chocka", he claimed, that emergency vehicles are blocked, leaving him trapped in his own home.
Fellow resident Hussain went on: "It's absolutely crazy, especially during school runs and rush hour, it's absolutely diabolical.

"I am a student so I sometimes come back really late in the evening.
"For my own safety I think 'shall I just stay at my sister's house tonight if I can't find parking?'

"I have seen many fights, really physical fights where they crash their cars into each other."
Others claimed that things are so bad, they deliberately stay late at work so they don't have to come home during rush hour.
And Hussain's neighbour Patrick claimed that people are parking illegally and are happy to just pay the cost of a ticket rather than taking on the struggle of finding a proper bay.
A spokesperson for Birmingham City Council said: "We all share this space, and motorists must always park safely, considerately, and legally, being mindful of other road and pavement users, and with consideration to local residents.
"We take action where possible, to pro-actively enforce illegal parking."
It comes after one couple found themselves locked in a "parking war" with their neighbours, who left just inches between their cars in an act of revenge.
