Land Rover Discovery crushes front of another motor after driver lost control in Sainsbury’s car park

It isn't the only motor incident to happen in Wilmslow in recent weeks

A SHOPPER lost control of their £50,000 Land Rover Discovery in Sainsbury’s car park and mounted another vehicle - just days after an Aston Martin was reversed over in the same market town.

The bungling driver of the white SUV drove into a parked black Ford Tourneo in a head-on collision on Sunday.

The vehicle mounted the bonnet in front of horrified shoppers at around 3.10pm in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

Emergency services were called to the scene but thankfully nobody was injured.

The incident came just days after the driver of a VW Tiguan reversed onto a £210,000 Aston Martin supercar.

It had been parked outside a dealership - less than a mile from Sainsbury’s - on May 7 when its bonnet was crushed.

One resident said: “What, ANOTHER one?!! Last week it was that bloke at the garage. What is it about Wilmslow, people drive without any spatial awareness.”

A woman posted on X: “Sums up some of the drivers around Wilmslow these days!”

Another said:” How is this possible in a car park? Should have their licence taken off them or at least a re-test.”

A Cheshire Police spokesman said "Officers attended the scene and found that a white Land Rover Discovery had collided with a parked black Ford Tourneo.
