According to data collected in February, the stylish Tesla Model 3 was ranked as the .

Perhaps that had something to do with the Model 3's price being slashed by £1,000s back in January, alongside a pretty substantial update - including a bold new look.

To that end, Alex wrote that the popular EV represents "good value", adding: "The Model 3’s rather lovely, minimalist interior, vast interior space and welter of hi-tech gadgetry, make it an extremely strong electric car, and recent improvements have made it better to drive, too."

Fisker recently slashed the price of its flagship SUV model by £15,000 - meaning drivers can now get behind the wheel of the Ocean for as little as £30,900.

However, the offer does come with a warning that, due to the manufacturer's unclear future, aftermarket support is "not guaranteed" following the brand's failure to secure fresh financial backing as talks with an unnamed major car brand fell through.

Pricing aside, the Ocean is a stylish electric SUV with the Extreme version capable of hitting a lengthy 440 miles in range.

Britain’s longest-range EV was already top of the pops with its eye-catching total of 452 miles.

But, after a battery boast of 118kWh, the EQS' official range is now said to be at 503 miles – making it the first production electric car to break the 500-mile barrier.

What's more, the latest model has a plethora of interior updates, including the option of more luxurious rear seats and new driver assistance features.

This comes as five SUVs were recently picked out that can be bought for under £5,000 – including reliable Toyota with a reputation for longevity.

Elsewhere, a car expert urged drivers to consider looking out for a sports car that offers "a taste of supercar ownership at a fraction of the price."
