WHEELER Dealers' Mike Brewer has revealed the four best used cars for less than £5,000 for those on a budget.
The motors expert even included a brand that has a "garage in every town" just to make things that little bit easier for first time buyers.
Brewer admitted there were “lots of cars” priced under £10,000 that were “really handy to own”, including his own go-to for a budget car.
But the host of Wheeler Dealers' latest World Tour series managed to decide on three more to round off his four standout options for 2024, which have been listed below.
Kia
Coming in as Brewer's first choice for the best used car under £5,000 is the popular Kia brand.
The South Korean manufacturer has become one of the most popular in the UK, with more than 107,000 vehicles sold to Brits during a record-breaking year in 2023.

Brewer recommends anything from a GT to a Sedona, although he says whatever it is will be worth your money.
“They are likely four or five four years old at £10,000 and they still have five or six years of a manufacturer's warranty on them," he told the . "So they are great little bargains.”
Vauxhall Corsa
Next up on Brewers' list is the Vauxhall Corsa, an iconic British car that is incredibly popular with all ages across the UK.
The Wheeler Dealers star adds that there is a garage "in every town" for the popular five-door British hatchback, meaning you'll never be far from a mechanic who can help fix it.

The Corsa was the bestselling new car in 2021 with over 40,900 models purchased over the course of 12 months.
The vehicles are also renowned for having plenty of space in both the front and back, meaning you can always enjoy a comfortable drive.
Ford Fiesta
Another car that Brewer recommends for those on a budget is the Ford Fiesta.
The top-selling model in the UK market for 12 successive years between 2009 and 2020, you simply can't go wrong with this car.
The Fiesta is also preferable for those wanting a more sportier car, with the nimble motor capable of reaching 0-60mph in just 6.5 seconds.
Some models are more expensive than others, so you'll need to choose wisely, but even the most basic Fiestas are great fun to drive.
Ford Focus
Highlighting the American manufacturers reasonable prices, Brewer has also included the Ford Focus as one of his cheaper recommendations.
The Focus is better suited for families than the Fiesta is, however, thanks to its generous 375 litres of boot space - compared to the 292 litres in the Fiesta.

Thanks to it being an incredibly popular model, parts are easy to find and therefore much cheaper than other cars.
This also guarantees that you can keep a Focus running in good condition without having to necessarily break the bank.
