You have an incredibly high driving IQ if you can spot which of these trucks is moving in less than 20 seconds

Plus another tricky optical illusion

DRIVERS have been challenged to test themselves against this fiendish brainteaser.

Only motoring pros will be able to spot which of the three trucks in the picture is moving in less than 20 seconds.

The image, originally posted to X, shows a trio of trucks lined up one behind the other from a side-on angle.

Each is carrying an oval-shaped container of liquid as its load.

The only hint you're given is which direction the motors are meant to be moving in.

Based on that, Brits with a high driving IQ would be able to work out which of them is driving in that direction.

It all comes down to the way that the liquid is slanted.

In the first truck, it appears to be moving toward the front while in the third it's headed towards the rear.

Meanwhile, the liquid in the middle container is perfectly level.

Given that it is meant to be moving from left to right across the picture, that means that it is the third truck that must be the answer.

As the vehicle accelerates, the torque applied to it pushes the liquid toward the rear of the container.

It's exactly the same as when a driver speeds up rapidly and feels themselves being pushed back into their seat.

Everyone sees the little girl in the middle of the road – but you have high IQ if you can tell what’s really going on

The first truck, therefore, must be braking, creating the opposite effect and forcing the liquid to the front.

And the one in the middle must be stationary, as no force is being exerted on the liquid either way.

Social media users were left baffled by the brainteaser.

One complained there was "not enough info" to solve the riddle, while other pointed out it could be any of them depending on whether they are speeding up or slowing down.

However, some viewers managed to get to the right answer.

One pointed out: "The only right answer we can know for certain is C."
