Toyota drivers found several other critical hidden features in their cars

A TOYOTA specialist has unveiled how drivers can fine-tune dozens of features for their needs with the flip of a few buttons.

In a YouTube video, the driving expert unveiled how drivers can perfectly customize their Toyota vehicles to their precise liking.

"Today, I'm going to open up a can of worms," the YouTuber, Steve Clifford () said in a .

Clifford, a YouTubing Toyota expert, has garnered more than 3,000 followers on his YouTube videos, where he explains hidden features and tips for the brand's drivers.

The driver said Toyota owners can customize the car's settings on the infotainment system's "settings" display.

However, drivers can customize more granular operations in the car with a hidden tool.

"The hidden stuff is in your owner's manual," Clifford said.

"Flip back here to the section that says "customization," and you are going to notice three columns."

The columns in the owner's manual for the 2023 Toyota Crown hybrid sedan that Clifford is in are organized based on where the settings can be changed.

Column A is a setting drivers can change through the infotainment system. Column B denotes settings that can change on the gauge cluster.

A mechanic must change settings in Column C.

Drivers can change hundreds of options in the car - including door locking, light adjustments, and even engine noises for hybrids.

Clifford did give drivers a stark warning about the manufacturer-based customizations.

"The manufacturer does not pay for [the customizations]," he said.

"You're going to be paying for it. So, you need to do some research and make sure that you're comfortable."

TOYOTA TUNE-UP

Toyota drivers have unveiled dozens of hidden buttons on their new vehicles.

While walking around a new RAV4 SUV, a Toyota specialist said new cars in the brand have a hidden remote starter.

"You click the lock button three times, and then push it and hold it until you see the lights flashing," the specialist said.

"If you want to turn the car off you can hit unlock and then the car will turn off."

Another Toyota mechanic found a hidden button that allows drivers to take their music out of the car.

Some Toyota 4Runner SUV's come with a removable dashboard speaker that drivers can pop out, the driver said in an Instagram.

"You can take [the speaker] hiking, you can take it to the beach because it's waterproof up to a meter down for 30 minutes, it's dust proof, and then you when you're done, you can place it back into the dock where the Bluetooth system becomes deactivated," the Instagrammer said.
