‘It gives me a Tron vibe,’ says Kia EV9 reviewer who discovered ‘customizable’ hidden parking feature inside car

A CAR reviewer has raved about a new electric Kia vehicle for its fast charging and interior illuminating feature.
The YouTube creator said the 2024 Kia EV9 GT-Line can be charged in multiple ways and compared the interior of the electric car to the cars featured in the futuristic racing video game Tron.
“Every feature that the new EV9 has to offer,” the creator known as HotshotTek () on the video platform captioned the YouTube .
“And some cool tips and [tricks] you need to know in my full review of the Kia 2024 EV9 GT-Line.
The video featured the auto reviewer showing off various aspects he admired about a blue Kia 2024 EV9 GT-Line.
When he got into the car, the YouTuber became excited to talk about the interior.
“Before we start talking about the gorgeous interior, I think almost forgot to highlight the fast charging rate,” he said.
“This does support DC fast charging and it can actually accept up to 350 kWh, which Kia says could allow this vehicle to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 25 minutes.”
The creator explained that’s about 100 miles every 10 minutes.
“Which isn’t bad for a vehicle that could get up to 300 mile range,” he added.
Out of all the cars he’s test-driven, the YouTuber said there’s something that stands out about the Kia 2024 EV9 GT-Line.
“This one definitely does give me like a Tron vibe,” he emphasized.
“Everything illuminates including the center of the steering wheel and then everything is also customizable.”
The car has an “ambient” light across its dashboard.
“This awesome ambient light is fully customizable,” he explained.
“If you just go into your vehicle settings and go into ‘vehicle,’ and click on ‘lights,’ and in ‘ambient light,’ you could adjust the brightness,
The car reviewer said a driver could link the light to the drive mode.
“But if you unlink it you can customize it to your own personal preference,
“You even have a cool color wheel you can select from and you can select two different colors at once. So if I want my bottom ones to be blue my top one to be red I have total freedom to do so.”
He showed that the top inside of the car’s passenger side door was red while the bottom of the door, near the floor, was blue.
The rearview mirrors on each side of the vehicle also automatically point down when a driver is parking in reverse so they can see the guidelines on the ground.
