As shown by Danny Johnson on YouTube (@) with a recent , there are a plethora of hidden tips and tricks that can be accessed with the smart fob.

The first tip that received a lot of praise was the feature that programmed the key to unlock all the doors at once.

"One of my favorite setting of all time is you hit lock and unlock at the same time and hold it down," said Johnson, showing himself holding the two buttons down.

"After about five to 10 seconds, it will beep a few times and that acknowledges that now when you hit the unlock button, it will unlock all the doors at once."

Johnson said that the feature is especially ideal for families, who have multiple people entering and exiting the vehicle.

It also eliminates the need to hit the unlock button multiple times like people normally have to.

"Now you don't have to hit unlock for the driver and then unlock again for the rest," he said.

With the spare key fob, if it's ever accidentally locked in the car, the car is programmed to do a solid and long 'beep' to let the driver know that the truck is not locked, as the key fob is inside the vehicle.

Cleverly hidden on the side of the key fob is a 'PUSH' button that reveals a hidden tool to help drivers in an emergency.

When that button is pushed, a small key pops out from the bottom of the key fob, and that can be used to lock or unlock any door in the event that the key fob has a dead battery.

'That's so useless,' Toyota driver fumes after learning a hidden remote feature still needs you standing by the car

Though, Johnson issued a warning to drivers who have to use it.

"It is a little more flimsy so I would not use it all the time and if you have the other bigger key I would use that one," he said.

"When inserting this into the driver door, you'll notice if you put it in the wrong direction it won't go all the way in, so just take it out, flip it over, and put it back in."

He also mentioned that turning the key to the left will lock the door, and turning it towards the left will unlock the door.

Holding the key to the left will roll all the windows down and open the sunroof, and then holding it the other direction would close all the windows and sunroof.

Toyota owners in the comments section were more than grateful to receive the helpful information, with many saying they had no idea their keys had those features.

"Great video, this is just what I was looking for," wrote one user.

Another user pointed out that he missed the 'Remote Start' function that's hidden in the Connected Services section of the Toyota App.

"Hit lock four times, holding it on the fourth time until the vehicle starts," one person wrote.

That feature is available for models as far back as 2018.

Another user wrote another use for the hidden key.

"You can use the key to lock or unlock the glove box, too," they wrote.
