We review the Citroen C3 Feel from price to economy and all its features
IT’S the Citroen SEE 3! All the photos marked with the blue pin were taken by the car on a whistle-stop tour of Barcelona.
Good job, too, because it was p***ing it down. All day.
We visited the Church of Messi (Camp Nou), the Gaudi church (Sagrada Familia, above), the beach, and other landmarks including the Spanish Arc de Triomf, the golden fish (El Peix) and the Spanish gherkin (Torre Agbar skyscraper).
Muy bueno.

DID you hear about the Japanese tourists stranded between crash barriers on a busy dual carriageway?
They were a little confused.
They had mistaken our black and white speed camera signs for a “photo vantage point” and were queuing up with their Nikons. They had to be rescued by PC Plod.
Well, to save them the bother in future, Citroen is now selling the C3 with a built-in onboard camera (above). Press the button once to share a photo on social media — on Instagram? — or press and hold for three seconds to record video.
Next time you spot a dachshund on a skateboard you can prove it
So next time you spot a nice flyover, or a dachshund on a skateboard, or a monster jam has made you late for work, you can prove it — without ending up as road kill. Or being dumb and using a smartphone at the wheel.
In a crash, the widescreen HD camera is your “Exhibit A” evidence as it automatically saves video footage from 30 seconds before impact and a minute afterwards. It’s a £380 option on mid-range C3s but standard on top-spec cars.
More Motors
Now we all know Citroen has a long history of quirky, offbeat cars and the new C3 doesn’t disappoint.
Those black plastic Airbumps, borrowed from the C4 Cactus, protect it from car park door wars and it comes in more colours than a bowl of Smarties.
It looks just as fresh inside with a clean, horizontal dash, 7in touchscreen and wide sofa-like seats. Big tick there. They’re mega comfy.
And it has all the connected tech and driver aids you would expect in a modern supermini.
But it’s the little details that make this car stand out. Like the luggage-strap door handles, textile dash trim on my test car, and the light-coloured door bins to easily spot your stuff.
The boot just edges the Fiesta and Corsa
And the glovebox is bigger than a bucket. And the boot just edges the Fiesta and Corsa.
On the road, the C3 is quiet with feather-light steering and comes in five flavours — three petrol and two diesel.
For economy, you’ll want the 1.6-litre diesel returning up to 80mpg. For a bit of zip, go for the 110hp 1.2-litre petrol turbo (0-62 in 9.3 and 117mph).
Out January, prices from £11,000.
VERDICT: Fresh, fun and full of smiles per gallon.
