Abandoned garage of 22 ‘mint condition’ supercars including rare £300k Ferrari found after wealthy owner ‘left country’

A FLEET of luxury supercars - including a super-rare Ferrari - is set to be sold off after the owner "left the country".

The expensive collection of luxury motors is owned by a "sports car-mad" industrialist who left them to collect dust in a Belgian warehouse.

The collection includes five Ferrari Testarossas, which gained widespread fame after featuring in the hit TV series Miami Vice - expected to sell for a cool £213,000 each.

The rarest of the lot, a 1970s Ferrari 365 GT4 BB, one of only 367 ever produced, is expected to fetch more than £300,000.

The fancy car's 10-cylinder motor evolved almost directly from a Formula 1 racing car and it has a top speed of nearly 190 mph (300 kph).

Xavier Molenaar, of Oldtimerfarm, who specialise in classic cars, said: "It is perhaps the only one in the world in this exceptional unrestored condition."

Others up for sale include 16 more Ferraris and six Porches, reported to be from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

Among the Porsches there was a Porsche 911, as well as rare cooled Turbo and S models.

According to representatives of Oldtimerfarm the owner is "media shy" and wishes to "remain anonymous".

The collection will sell for millions of pounds, and eagle-eyes classic car enthusiasts should keep an eye out as local reports claim that the supercars will be sold to individual clients.

And, to assure buyers that the dusty supercars are road-ready - Oldtimerfarm, based in Aalter, Belgium, have restored them to perfect running condition.

It's not the first time a luxurious motor has been discovered after being seemingly abandoned.

Earlier this month a car dubbed the "world's rarest city car" was discovered abandoned on a roadside.

It was discovered by self-professed lover of "crap old cars", James Dorrell, who was informed of how rare the car he found was by his followers when posting clips of the motor online.

And, a second person found a classic Rolls Royce parked in the drive of an abandoned mansion.

At the time, the car-lover explained in a video clip: "On the way home yesterday, I noticed this Rolls-Royce parked down the street from my cousin's house, so I decided to walk over."
