The ID.2 will be the manufacturer's next electric motor and will take inspiration from the famous VW Polo.

It's set to start at under €25,000, or roughly £22,000, and is expected to be launched by the manufacturer by 2026.

The car's interior is made using "higher-class materials" with completely updated seats and larger displays, as well as a sleeker rear that uses a new illumination style to give it "a more German look".

But the highlight of the EV is its futuristic interior - which includes a large infotainment device and display screens.

Car expert Thomas said: "Interior-wise, this is more upmarket.

"Lots of colourings, microfibre, a 13-inch touchscreen and large digital instruments."

However, the clip has received mixed responses from motors fans on TikTok.

One user wrote: "First time in my life I want a German car."

Another said: "Space for three cases of beer - great idea."

However, another wrote: "The sound of German cars in 2023... plastic.

It comes after the world's most futuristic car was revealed... with no wheels.

Elsewhere, the popular Tesla Model 3 has become the first EV to be crowned Europe's best-selling car.
