A SPECIAL Ford Capri that is completely refurbished and in mint condition is up for grabs at auction.
The flashy 80s motor is for sale on eBay with the highest bid standing at £14,000.
Finished in Zermatt silver the car is a sight to behold and is described as a “lovely example.”
It is said to only have had three previous owners and has had a complete refurbishment over the last few weeks.
The vehicle has benefited from a full respray and has fully refurbished wheels.
It has also had a full service and boasts a new water pump.
The interior has had a complete revamp and a whopping £7000 has been spent to get the car looking as good as new.
The marvellous motor also has a full service history with a huge file of paperwork, right back to day one.
This is not the only time a Ford Capri has made the news recently.
Earlier this week we told of a “perfectly preserved” special edition Ford Capri with incredibly low mileage that was touted by auto experts as “like stepping into a Ford showroom”.
Described as “incredible” by the sellers at KGF Classic Cars, the special edition Laser has clocked an “astonishing” 7,166 miles.
And we also told how an “exceptionally rare” Ford Capri considered to be the “ultimate” by enthusiasts went up for auction.
The vintage motor packed a serious punch under the bonnet thanks to an “in-period Turbo Technics conversion” – giving it an impressive 200bhp.
A Ford Capri racing car also went under the hammer, but at an eye-watering six figure price.
Automotive retailer Car & Classic listed the 1972 Ford Capri RS2600 – a racer which gained notoriety among car enthusiasts in the European Touring Car Championship.
