A MOTORIST has revealed her easy way to de-ice her car - and that's to stop it from forming no the glass in the first place.
Rebecca Betteridge has how she uses a simple sheet to prevent ice from forming on her windscreen.
The clip sees her peeling a dark blue cover off her car's windscreen that has frosted on one side, but revealing the windscreen to be ice-free.
Rebecca has had the sides of the cover shut inside her car doors so it doesn't fly off or is stolen overnight.
"F*** water in a bag, this was £5 from Halfords," she says in the six-second clip.
Windscreen covers offer protection from ice and snow in winter, as well as leaves and dust in autumn and from sun damage and heat in the summer, making one a sensible purchase for all-year-round use.

"I've used one for years, no more scraping," said a third.
Other motorists said they were able to get a guard for £1.50 from Home Bargains or they used a bath towel.
Meanwhile, cleaning expert Jottie has shared her - and has been thanked by grateful motorists planning to put it into action this winter.
The "ice removal hack" video shows Jottie filling a cleaning bottle that has a brush on the end with lukewarm water.
Jottie then is easily able to wipe down the ice on her car's windscreen with the lukewarm water melting the ice away.
