I bought a major car firm’s new EV – it’s so unreliable… two days later it was in the garage needing £8,500 of repairs
A DRIVER who bought a Vauxhall Mokka Electric had to send it back to the garage for a £8,500 repair job two days after they bought it.
The Mokka Electric has now topped a survey of the least reliable electric SUVs.

The battery accounted for 40% of issues with the SUV. Sat-nav/infotainment accounted for 27%, air-con 13%, bodywork 13%, motor 13%, motor electrics 13%, non-motor electrics 13% and steering 13% of complaints.
The Jaguar I-Pace came second with a score of 85.9% followed by the Audi E-tron with a score of 92.6%.
The Sun approached Vauxhall for comment.
