I hate EVs… they are not an alternative to regular fuels and their supporters are a part of a cult
AN Online commentator has lashed out at electric cars, saying they are not an alternative to regular fuels.
The social media user known as “Zecaptainsrevenge” vented their fury in a thread on Reddit about EVs.
They started off by claiming EVs were being “forced” on people around the world.
The commentator said: “I hate the fact that they are being forced down our throats. No problem with ev option available for those who want them (currently less than 10 per cent despite the pressure).
“I'd be open to hybrid, which would emissions and gas prices without infringing on people's freedoms . Sadly, such infringement is the main goal of the Gas Bad Brigade.”
When another commentator replied that improvements could be made to the conventional internal combustion engine they responded by saying the EV was a step backwards.

They wrote: “I agree we could do better than current gas cars, but the current lineup of evs is a step backward.
“They cost too much (especially the battery) and are not green given the materials. They also don’t do well in extreme temperatures and are reliant on an already straining power grid.”
In the online conversation, they thought other forms of power might be better than electric.
They said: “Hydrogen seems promising, too. Also, fusion.

“When a viable alternative is ready, people will switch organically. They did not have to tax/ban horses.
“Nobody is pro pollution, if the fearmongering and doomerism stopped, scientists could work on an actual solution, not just slapping something ‘green’ together overnight.”
However, they also thought that because alternatives weren’t ready yet, it was necessary to continue to rely on gas for the time being.
Another commentator who supported them added: “You make too much sense, that doesn’t sit well with the climate alarmists. This was never about saving the planet, though. And we know this.”
With “Zecaptainsrevenge” replying: “Yup, it’s a cult, the members are deranged and actually want to kill people to save polar bears.”
