Collecting Cars, who is currently handling the sale, claims that this specific model was exported to the Channel Islands in 2008, but it has recently returned to the UK.

The Puma is finished in Ford Racing Blue, with a blue Alcantara and black leather finish on the Sparco seats and 17-inch multi-spoke Speedline alloy wheels.

And, at the time of writing, the highest bid was £10,755.

Powered by a 153bhp 1.7 litre petrol engine, with a five-speed manual gearbox, it was last serviced in April 2023 with a replacement cam belt, tensioner and water pump.

Collecting Cars explained: "The paintwork is reported to be in good condition, with some minor stone chips on the front end, an imperfection on the driver’s door, and a minor blemish on the front splitter.

"Moving inside, the cabin is very smart, and the steering wheel has been retrimmed by Royal Steering Wheels. There is minor scuffing on the entry sill plates and imperfections on the driver’s door card."

The Ford includes factory-fitted equipment like electric windows and mirrors, air conditioning and a CD player.

According to the seller, the most recent MOT test was conducted on 17 March 2023 at 72,123 miles, resulting in a clean first-time pass.

The auction finishes tomorrow May 16 on the website.

This comes after a mind-blowing collection of 1980s "fast Fords" was set to go under the hammer.

Plus, a stunning parade of classic Italian cars is being sold at auction, with the total expected to reach a cool £1 million.
