Stunning Ferrari owned by superstar musician Eric Clapton goes up for sale at auction – it’s set to fetch massive money

The online auction finishes on Monday evening, but the bidding is already at nearly £70,000.

Clapton specced the car in Nero Daytona black paint with optional Scuderia wing shields.

These are joined by black 20-inch alloy wheels over yellow brake callipers and huge carbon ceramic brakes.

Inside, Eric went for a Castoro Light Brown leather-trimmed interior, featuring a contrasting black upper dashboard, and carbon fibre and silver trim inlays. 

Whoever wins the bidding will also get the car's private plate 'S999 GTB' which is worth decent money by itself.

The 599 GTB has a 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 612bhp and driving the rear wheels via a six-speed ‘F1 SuperFast’ automatic gearbox.

The car's most recent service cost a whopping £10,000 so you'll need deep pockets to run it as well as buy it.
