A REPORT has revealed the cars most likely to fail their MOT test, based on the latest data.
The results of the least and most likely brands to fail are surprising.
The report was carried out by and revealed that Chrysler's cars are the least likely to pass their MOT test.
The US marque is no longer sold new in Britain, but its used cars had a success rate of just 73%.
The second least likely to pass is Chevrolet, followed by Daihatsu and Saab.
The French manufacturer Renault is next, followed by Citroen, Vauxhall, Peugeot and Fiat

- Chevrolet - 72.61% pass rate
- Daihatsu - 72.22% pass rate
- Saab - 73.85% pass rate
- Renault - 74.55% pass rate
- Citroen - 77.04% pass rate
- Vauxhall - 77.18% pass rate
- Isuzu - 78.24% pass rate
- Peugeot - 78.41% pass rate
- Fiat - 78.64% pass rate
At the other end of the scale, Ferrari's cars were most likely to pass with an impressive pass rate of 94%.
Then again, a Ferrari costs as much as £268,000, so perhaps drivers expect it.
After Ferrari, the second most likely to pass is Bentley with a 91% pass rate, followed by Porsche and Tesla.
Next up is Lexus, but bucking the premium-car trend in sixth position is the budget brand Dacia, followed by BMW.

Seeing out the top 10 most likely cars to pass are Audi, Skoda and Suzuki.
Ryan Fulthorpe, motoring expert at Go Compare said: "The variation in pass rates across different manufacturers suggests that some vehicles are more primed to pass their MOT than others.
"However, it's unlikely to be the only contributing factor.
"Although the yearly MOT may seem like a stressful and costly part of owning a car, it is vital to ensure that the vehicles on Britain's roads are safe.
"Remember, if your car does not have a valid MOT certificate, then your car insurance is also void, so it is essential to check when your next MOT is due and keep it up to date."
