James Bond fans get chance to own the ultimate private number plate – but the estimated price is staggering

JAMES BOND fans have the chance to buy the ultimate private number plate when it goes up for auction soon.

It comes after the number plate 'JB 007' was auctioned in 2015 for a whopping £240,000.

This plate, 'J 8OND', won't fetch quite that sum but is still expected to go for as much as £120,000.

The plate is being auctioned off by , which sells movie memorabilia online.

The plate will be part of Propstore’s auction which features over 1,500 pieces of film, television, & music memorabilia.

The auction of all the items will take place between 3rd - 6th November 2022 and online bidding is now open.

However, bids can also be placed by phone or in person.

The advert states: 'By securing this lot, you secure the right to use this unique and sought-after personalised number plate, based on the name of Ian Fleming's iconic character James Bond.

'The lot includes two 'presentation' number plates - front and rear - made of acrylic.

'DVLA transfer will be arranged for the winning bidder, and it will be their responsibility to provide legal plates for their vehicle.'

In 2015 number plate 'JB 007' was sold for £240,000 in Guernsey after being estimated at £60,000.

More recently, an Aston Martin DB5 created for the latest Bond film No Time to Die sold for more than £2million.
