I’m a parking guru and I’ve saved drivers over £500,000 by getting tickets overturned – here’s how

A PARKING guru claims to have saved drivers more than £500,000 by getting tickets overturned.

Tony Taylor says he has won almost 8,000 appeals — at a 92 per cent success rate — in less than ten years.

The 62-year-old dad of two worked for a parking company for two years until 2013 and now runs Facebook group Fight Your Parking Ticket.

He charges £15 to take on a case from his home in Wrexham, and says his wife is “very tolerant” of his workload.

Tony added: “Obviously, there’s some parking appeals that I will not do — when people say, ‘I parked in a disabled bay and didn’t realise’.

“But all the parking companies know me.

“And I think straight away from just seeing my name on the appeal they tend to throw in the towel.

“Some of them will go all the way with the appeal but in the end, I will win.

“It’s a process where they send me a photo of their parking ticket and then pay me £15 and I will take on the appeal process.

“I contact them in due course when I win or lose – but I don’t lose many.”
