The Jaguar F-Type sports car bows out with a final special edition celebrating 75 years of fast Jags

JAGUAR has announced a final '75' special edition of its raucous F-Type sports car as it bows out after nearly a decade on sale.

The F-Type will go at the end of next year as Jaguar moves to an all-electric line-up.

It marks the end of 75 years of pure-combustion sports cars from the British brand which stretches all the way back to the gorgeous XK120.

The 2023 F-Type will be available with a 300hp four-cylinder or 450hp or 575hp V8 petrol engines - but only the V8s will come in new '75' trim.

Buyers still get to choose between a solid-roof Coupe or an open-top Convertible model.

The 75 cars will get things like unique badges, gloss black wheels, upgraded leather seats and '75' interior decorations.

They also get the option of a unique 'Giola Green' paint, but you can't really see it in these weirdly dark official images.

Matthew Beaven, Jaguar Land Rover chief designer, exteriors, said: “For 75 years Jaguar has been renowned for producing extraordinary sports cars that deliver performance, agility and maximum driver reward.

"The F-Type special editions hold true to these principles, adding unique interior and exterior design details to celebrate this lineage before Jaguar becomes an all-electric brand from 2025."

Every F-Type in the range is now offered with a model-specific 20-inch alloy wheel as standard.
