Inside world’s best motor-themed hotel where you sleep in anything from a Jaguar to a Jeep – or cuddle-up in a car wash
THE 'V8 Hotel' gives its guests the opportunity to pick their favourite car and stay in a room designed around it.
Located in the Stuttgart region of Germany, also has standard rooms, suites and serviced apartments.
The standard doubles are designated V6s, the themed rooms V8s and the plusher suites V10s and V12s.
Among the V8-themed rooms is a British room with a Jaguar bed, an off-road room with a Jeep bed and German suite with a huge Mercedes to sleep on and its own roof terrace.
You'll also find a room done up like an old barn, one like a workshop with a Morris Minor complete with mechanic's legs sticking out from beneath it and one designed to look like a car wash.
We particularly like the drive-in cinema theme with huge Cadillac bed and movie posters.

All of the beds started out as an actual car, before the cars had their front-ends removed, painted, polished up and used as beautiful frames.
It's all part of what's known as Motorwold in Stuttgart, where there's also a car museum and the chance to drive some lovely motors on track too.
