Neighbour leaves angry note on cardboard sign slamming driver for ‘blocking’ lane with bad parking

A FURIOUS homeowner left an angry note on a neighbour’s car – slamming the driver for “blocking” a lane.

The cardboard sign was attached to the windscreen of a vehicle in Spey Terrace, Edinburgh blasting the motorist for their poor parking.

According to the , the car had been left with the bonnet sticking out of the entrance of the small road on Friday morning.

The area is notorious for tight parking spaces and only has room for on stream traffic and a select number of parked cars.

Seemingly, one neighbour could not hide their fury with the accused motorist as they left the note in plain sight for all to see.

In bold letters, the note read: “Pls move your car. It’s blocking the lane.”

A local resident claimed the street has become a hotspot for double parking and suggested the latest incident may have been the final straw.

They told the outlet: “To be fair, people park where they want down this street. You see cars double-parked all the time.

“You get tourists parking here as well for their Airbnbs. Clearly someone has had enough and slapped a note on.”

It comes after a disabled mother revealed she was the subject of a “discriminatory” car window note that criticised her parking.  

The writer slammed her for not parking with “consideration” and suggested she give up her driving licence – despite the woman’s claims she was neatly parked within a bay and not blocking access.

Wendy Robinson, 57, who has cerebral palsy and arthritis, claims a man even came out of his home to brag that he wrote the note and demand she give priority to him and other pensioners “because they’re old”.

The mum, who can’t walk more than 20 metres unaided, said it’s the third letter she’s received ordering her to move her car from the unreserved car park.

She believes parking complaints are borne of people “discriminating” against her disability.
