The new Kia XCeed is a stylish family SUV for less than £250 a month
KIA has revealed its facelifted XCeed, with a fresh new look, upgraded tech inside and more engine options.
The Kia XCeed is a five-door, five-seat SUV, although it's more a raised family hatchback than a proper off-roader.
The new Kia XCeed features new LED headlamps and a revised grille, front bumper and air intake design.
Around the back there are new tail lights, a new diffuser with a gloss black skid plate and a discreet ‘exhaust-look’ design. That means fake exhausts. Sigh.
There's also a new GT-line trim, which adds an even sportier bodykit and unique 18-inch alloy wheels.
The GT-line gets a sportier look than the others inside, too, with a D-shaped sports steering wheel, sports seats and black headlining.
The XCeed gets Kia's latest 10.25-inch infotainment system and optional digital driver's dials which have been redesigned for this new model.
There are 120hp 1.0-litre, 160hp 1.5-litre or 204hp 1.6-litre petrol engines to choose between, or a 1.6-litre 136hp diesel instead.
For those who want electrification, there's also a 1.6-litre petrol plug-in hybrid that can be charged in a little over an hour and will do 37 miles on electricity in town.
Manual and automatic gearboxes are available, but all XCeed's come with front-wheel drive.

UK pricing and trim levels are yet to be confirmed, but the new XCeed will go on sale in Europe from September 2022.
Like all Kia's the XCeed comes with the firm's industry-leading seven-year warranty promise.
We don't think prices will jump much for this new model - the current XCeed starts from £21,835.
There have been some extremely aggressive finance deals on the XCeed for as little at £197 per month, so you should be able to pick this new car up for not much more than that.
