My nightmare neighbour left note slating my parking – even though I’m disabled and able to leave my van there
A DISABLED woman has been accused of "illegal" parking by her neighbours and threatened with "continued action" despite being allowed to park there.
Hollie Amber, 22, a Blue Badge holder, parked her van in a residents permit bay, in Oxford, and was shocked to find the nasty note from the "residents of Staverton Road".
The trainee teacher – who has quadriplegic cerebral palsy – found the hostile letter stuck to her motor, on January 28.
Hollie has lived on the road for three years and was stunned to find that the she had been reported to the council.
She told : "I find it amazing that they think my vehicle, which has labels on it saying we need six feet for lift access, is being called a commercial vehicle.
"Yes, it is a van, but it is not a commercial vehicle by any sense.
"Someone has obviously got it out for me."
The note said neighbours would "continue to take action" if she parked in that space again.

Hollie said: "I get quite a lot of stick sometimes if I park somewhere.
"I get dirty looks and everything so it’d be good to educate people more.
“It’s a countrywide problem I think. I find it especially in the middle class areas you just get these people that think they can tell everyone what to do."
She added: "I’ve been living at Staverton Road since 2019, and I’ve never had any problems.
"I’ve always parked where I was parked, until this week where everyone seems to have just turned."
Blue Badge holders' are entitled to park for three hours on double and single yellow lines.
They can also park for an unlimited time in residents permit bays and time-restricted spots.
This means that there was no reason to report Hollie to the council.
She said: "I would just try and educate them rather than being negative saying ‘Why the hell have you personally attacked me’.
"I think I would just be like ‘Look, you’re out of line, you obviously haven’t read up on the subject'."
Hollie's TikTok, , has 15,000 followers.
She shares videos of her life to raise awareness of people living with disabilities.
Hollie added: "I don’t think the council is doing enough.

"I think we need to either start an initiative or something to spread awareness of the problems disabled drivers face.
“It would be really good to spread awareness about disabled drivers and what they’re allowed to do."
