A LIMITED-EDITION Jaguar driven by a James Bond villain in Spectre is set to go under the hammer for £930,000.

The Jaguar C-X75 was one of five models created specifically for the last 007 film.

The supercar was used by henchman Mr Hinx, played by actor and former wrestler Dave Bautista, to pursue Bond in a high-speed chase through the streets of Rome.

During the intense scene, the pair are forced to take their speed machines off the road onto a riverside footpath.

Bond even has to use in-built flamethrowers on the classy motor as it closes on him, before ejecting from the driver's seat and sending his vehicle into the river.

The rare Jaguar is expected to get plenty of interest at its Abu Dhabi auction in November, with it expected to sell between £620,000 and £930,000.

The motor also boasts a supercharged V8 engine that produces a staggering 492 horsepower.

Unveiled in 2010, Jaguar was set to mass produce the car the following year.

But the British automaker ended up canning the project, with just five prototypes ever built.

Will Smith, car specialist at RM Sotheby's, said: "Bond has long been synonymous with some of the world's most incredible cars, from an enviable roster of iconic Aston Martin DB models through to the Lotus Esprit and BMW Z8.

"007's car of the moment is often pursued by an equally impressive vehicle belonging to the film's villain, and that's exactly what we have in the Jaguar C-X75.

"Not only did it make for one of the most intense and technologically advanced chase scenes in a Bond film to date, but it is a production Jaguar that never was, and built in partnership with Williams F1 no less."

It is not the first Bond car to get plenty of interest at auction.

An iconic Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger and Thunderball sold for £5.2million earlier this year.

The vintage motor has its own machine guns, tyre slashers and bullet-proof glass.
