You can now buy Rowntrees Watermelon Lollies – and they sound delicious

IT isn't really ice cream weather outside - but these new frozen lollies from Rowntrees could be tempting enough to convince you otherwise.

Tesco is selling this 4-pack of Rowntree's watermelon lollies for £1.50 for a pack of four

Rowntrees' frozen lollies are made with watermelon and apple water ice with chocolate flavoured pieces.

The Sun Online hasn't tried them yet but they do sound like the perfect treat to enjoy on a hot day.

Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Asda are selling packs of four for £2.20.

But you can also pick up the watermelon-flavoured sweets for a discounted £1.50 at Tesco until May 14.

Rowntrees lollies sound mouthwatering, but they are quite sugary.

Each lolly has 61 calories and 11g of sugar -  that's 36 per cent of an adult's recommended daily sugar allowance of 30g.

If you're looking for a more sophisticated snack Green & Black’s is bringing out three new ice-cream flavours - but they come with a hefty price tag.

The posh chocolate maker is adding salted caramel, chocolate & ginger and chocolate & salted caramel to its range.
