Two-bed seafront pad on the market for just £65k – but there’s a bizarre catch
A TWO-bed flat on the market for £65,000 has been mocked for having BEDSHEETS for CURTAINS.
The seaside pad is just a stone’s throw from the popular seaside town Cromer in posh Norfolk.
It is also perfect for a late night takeaway as it’s situated above a kebab shop.
But the cosy flat has some unusual touches, leaving house hunters stunned.
The main bedroom has homemade curtains of pink and white bedsheets pinned to the window frame reminiscent of seaside candy sticks of rock.
However, the box room has no curtains at all – just a carrier bag hanging on the handle which could double up as a bin bag.
The lounge appears to be used as a makeshift third bedroom – with two beds in it.
And the tenants have made do with home-made curtains too – the grey ones are too small for the window – only covering two thirds of the frame meaning holiday makers strolling along the beach could catch an EYEFULL!
One home hunting local quipped: “Loving the fitted sheets for curtains motif.”
The estate agents admit the pad does need “some updating” but is an absolute BARGAIN for anyone looking for their first home.
The kitchen of the flat in Cromer, Norfolk looks messy with cleaning products everywhere and the washing machine door left open.
The landing is full of drying washing and paint tins and the bins in the backyard are overflowing but you’ve got to give it to the tenants, they’re making sure every inch of space is well used.
The property is on the market with Abbotts estate agents and advertised on .
The listing reads: “This purpose built first floor apartment is just a stones throw from the seafront and promenade in a vibrant location.
“For sale by modern method of auction.
“With its private entrance to the rear of the property, it offers lots of space.
“It does need some updating and is currently tenanted.
“Stairs to first floor hallway, sitting room to front, kitchen, shower room and two bedrooms.
