Three storey town house with roof terrace on market for £300,000… but it comes with a secret unsolved for years
A MYSTERIOUS home that is bound to feel like a real safe house for potential owners has gone on the market.
The three-storey Hull townhouse boasts its own roof terrace, open plan living room and kitchen and three bedrooms for £300,000.
But it also comes with a hidden safe that has remained locked and unopened for many years.
Pictures of the property show the heavy metal door wedged into wooden panelling in one of the rooms.
There are scuff marks on the safe -suggesting it may have been there for some time.
Estate agent Oscars of Hull says there is a key but so far no one has been able to open it.
As the property has been used both as residential and commercial premises, it is anyone's guess what the safe could hold.
The agent said: "There is a key however we believe there to be a problem with the lock so it is unknown what is inside if anything."
