Asda is selling French Fancies that taste of Irish cream and they look delicious
ASDA is selling a new boozy flavour of Mr Kipling French Fancies this Christmas and they taste of Irish cream.
The "Irish Creme" cakes are part of a new festive range and they feature vanilla sponge covered in an Irish cream flavoured fondant icing.
We’ve seen them being sold in Asda for £1.80 for eight fancies, which works out at around 22p per cake.
Premier Foods, Mr Kipling's parent company, told us they’ll be available in other UK supermarkets soon, including Tesco, Morrisons and Iceland.
They will also be available in some convenience shops, including Spar and Nisa.
We’ve asked the company when customers can expect to find them in these stores and we’ll update this article when we know more.
Mr Kipling has also released a new pack of Frosty Fancies as part of its Christmas selection.
These are made with a white fondant icing and cost £1.50 for a pack of eight in Asda.
We can't see either new flavour being sold online so you'll need to visit your nearest Asda to get them.
The supermarket has over 600 stores in the UK and you can n its website.
Customers don’t have long to get them though as both cakes will only be around until the end of this year.
Be careful not to scoff the lot though as each Irish Crème cake contains 106 calories and the Frosty ones have 107.
Men are advised to not consume more than 2,500 calories a day, while it's 2,000 for women, according to NHS guidelines.
MORE ON MONEY
In case you didn't know, Mr Kipling now does mint French Fancies and you can buy them in Morrisons and Tesco.
Asda and Morrisons, meanwhile, are selling McVities unicorn cake bars complete with rainbow crystals.
And McVitie’s white chocolate nibbles are also back in shops for Christmas.
