M&M’s launches Halloween treats with a crispy centre and dark chocolate coating
HALLOWEEN is nearly here and there's a brand new flavour of M&M's that's perfect for trick or treaters.
Inside the spooktacular new candies is a crisp cocoa centre, while there's a layer of dark chocolate around the outside before the crunchy, coloured coating.
The sweets themselves come in classic fall colours of orange, red and brown and the packaging features the red M&M dressed-up as a spooky vampire.
They were spotted by identical twins Marcus and Matthew who post on the Instagram account.
The pair spotted the treats in a Target store in College Point, New York.
They rated the new flavours saying: "The dark chocolate is rich and a little bitter as dark chocolate should be, and the cocoa crisp is satisfying.
Target has confirmed that the new packs will be exclusively sold and its stores, costing $3.19 for an 8oz bag.
They contain 140 calories per serving and 3g of saturated fat.
You might also want to check with your local Target using the inventory number for the sweets, which is 055-00-0945 according to MnmTwinz. The Sun has asked Target to confirm this and we'll update this story if we get a response.
The sweets are currently unavailable online.
Hershey’s has also launched two new chocolate bars in extra creamy and one with crunchy whoppers.
While Target’s new loyalty scheme gives shoppers up to 1 per cent cashback on purchases.
Plus, KFC’s new "secret recipe" fries are now on sale in the US and they taste of chicken.
