Tesco is slashing price of Terry’s chocolate oranges to just 75p so you can stock up for Christmas
TESCO is slashing the price of Terry's chocolate oranges to just 75p to help you get a head start on stocking up for Christmas.
The treats are typically sold all year around but are particularly popular over the festive period and make ideal stocking fillers.
The fruit flavoured chocolates normally cost £2 but the supermarket is knocking £1.25p off the price.
The sphere-shaped delights weigh 157g and contain 925 calories each - luckily they're designed to be shared.
The deal was first shared among bargain hunters on deals forum but Tesco, who ran the same deal last year, has since confirmed the price drop.
It will be the cheapest price available from supermarkets on the high street.
Currently, the cheapest you can buy them for is £1 from Asda, Morrisons and the Coop.
But the Tesco offer, which launches on September 18 and lasts until September 24, will see shoppers save an extra 25p on the bill.
Even though it's a bargain, the snacks aren't as cheap as they often are post-Christmas - in January this year Iceland dropped the price to just 50p.
Customers can't get enough of the offer, with one person writing on the deals forum: "I may very well turn into a chocolate orange by the time this promotion ends."
Another said: "Well that's one of my five a day sorted," while a different customer wrote: "I always buy in bulk for Valentine's day."
Unfortunately, the deal doesn't extend to the dark chocolate versions of the treats, which will remain at £2 from Tesco, or £1 at Asda.
The offer will be available online and in store. You can find your nearest branch using the locator tool here.
