How you can find the best bargains
HAVE you ever wondered how bargain hunters nab the best deals?
Savvy shoppers are raving about the B&M app, which features a barcode scanner that reveals if prices are actually lower than they appear on the shelf.
Here's how you use the app:
- To get started, download the app, free on any smartphone. You don't need to sign up to the app to access the barcode scanner but you do have to be in store to make use of the price checker.
- Once you've installed the app and found the item you want to check, select the option which says "more" and click on "barcode price checker".
- The app will then turn into a camera. Use this to take a picture of the barcode and this will reveal the actual price of the product.
- If you're happy with the price, take it to the till and it will scan at the cost seen on the app.
To make planning your trip a bit easier, we've rounded up a selection of our favourites from their clearance sale.
