Mr Kipling now does MINT fancies – and you can buy them in Morrisons and Tesco

MINT chocolate fans are in luck because Mr Kipling now does fancies tasting exactly like it.

Shoppers are already going wild for the treats, which have been spotted on sale at Morrisons and Tesco.

The fancies contain of a chocolate-flavoured sponge cake with a mint creme topping, and are then covered with chocolate fondant icing.

They were spotted by Instagram account yesterday, and the post has so far racked up more than 2,900 likes.

The launch has also been shared by a shopper in the group on Facebook, and this post has had more than 4,500 likes and 3,000 comments.

One user simply commented: "Mmmm they sound fit."

While another added: "Must have these for Christmas."

NewfoodsUK said the treats are available in Morrisons stores for £2 for two boxes of eight fancies, although the supermarket hasn't yet confirmed this or told us the price per pack.

We've also spotted the same packs, which weigh 224g in total, on sale at for £2.50.

Mr Kipling hasn't yet told us whether they'll go on sale anywhere else. We'll update this story if we hear back.

If you're keeping an eye on your waistline, you'll want to know that every 28g fancy contains 106 calories and 15.3g of sugar.

This is similar to Mr Kipling's traditional French fancies, which contain 107 calories and 16g of sugar per treat.

They're cheaper though as a pack of eight is currently on sale for just 97p at .

An adult man should eat around 2,500 calories a day while it’s 2,000 for a women, according to NHS guidelines.

Mr Kipling is cashing in on the flamingo craze with new pink and yellow cake slices.

The British favourite also celebrated the royal wedding between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with three new bridal-themed cakes.
