Asda is selling ORANGE flavoured After Eights and they’d be great for Christmas
ASDA is selling mint and ORANGE After Eight chocolates, which could make great Christmas stocking fillers, although shoppers don’t quite know what to make of them.
The limited edition flavour sees a citrus twist added to the peppermint sweet and features slices of orange on the standard dark green box.
The new chocolates are being sold in Asda stores for just £2 alongside the regular mint edition.
Sadly you can’t buy the new flavour online so you’ll need to visit your nearest store to get your hands on them.
You can find your closest Asda branch by checking out its .
News of the new flavour has divided chocolate lovers though after they were first spotted by the Instagram page.
While some were excited to stock up for Christmas, others worried the new taste would be like "toothpaste and orange juice" mixed together.
One happy person said: "Xmas game".
While another who wasn't so sure added: "Not sure how I feel about mixing these two."
Someone who definitely wasn't pleased said: "They sound absolutely vile!"
We’ve asked Asda and Nestle if the new chocs are being sold nationwide and how long this limited edition flavour will be available for and we’ll update this article when we know more.
The Sun has also asked how many calories and how much sugar each box contains.
A 300g box of standard mint flavoured After Eight chocolates contain 431 calories and 66.4g of sugar per 100g.
You can buy these in for £2, the same price as the orange edition ones.
