Lidl launches massive 99p sale on big brands like Birds Eye, Cadbury and Muller
LIDL has launched a massive 99p sale so shoppers can save even more money at the discount supermarket.
Better yet, the deals include bargains on popular brands such as Birds Eye, Cadbury and Muller.
The sale bonanza starts at the supermarket tomorrow - August 1 - so make sure you pop by your nearest shop then.
The bargains will be available in store until August 7, or as long as stocks last.
Lidl has listed 39 items on , but the offers can vary between branches so put in your post code to find out what's available in your area.
Highlights of what's included in the 99p sale are:
- Muller light Greek style yoghurt with lemon, four x 120g
- Muller light big pot Greek style yoghurt, 450g
- Alpen muesli bars, five x 29g
- Fairy washing up liquid, 520ml
- Cadbury break bar, five x 26g
- GÜ intense chocolate mousse, 70g

- Birds Eye four chicken burgers, 200g
- Uncle Ben's rice, 250g
- Flash cleaning spray, 450ml

In good news for shoppers, all of the items above are cheaper than the prices in the big four supermarkets.
The biggest price difference we could found was on the Birds Eye potato waffles, with the second cheapest price being £2.15 at Asda and Tesco - £1.16 pricier than Lidl.
It's always worth shopping around before you splash out though as you may still be able to find cheaper deals elsewhere.

Here's how to cut the cost of your grocery shop
WE spoke to Hannah Maundrell, editor of Money.co.uk, about how you can cut the cost of your shopping bills.
- Write yourself a list - Only buy items that you need. If it isn't on your list, don't put it in the trolley
- Create a budget - Work out a weekly budget for your food shopping
- Never shop hungry - you are far more likely to buy more food if your tummy is rumbling
- Don't buy pre-chopped veggies or fruit - The extra they'll charge for chopping can be eye watering
- Use social media - follow your favourite retailers to find out about the latest deals
- Be disloyal - You may want to go to different stores to find the best bargains
- Check the small print - It’s always worth checking the price per kg/lb/litre when comparing offers so you’re making a like for like decision as a bigger box won’t necessarily mean you get more
- Use your loyalty cards - Don’t be afraid to sign up to them all. They all work slightly differently - work out what bonus suits you better and remember to trade in your points for additional rewards
