Salted caramel M&Ms exist and shoppers can’t wait to try them
CALLING all chocolate lovers - M&M's are now available in a brand new flavour, salted caramel.
The delicious treats were launched last week and are available in all major UK supermarkets.
They have the usual chocolate outer layer with a salted caramel centre.
The salted caramel versions are available in a 109g pouch for £2.09, as an 80g treat bag for £1.19 or as a "single" 36g bag for 66p.
These are just the recommended retail prices though, and retailers can set their own prices.
For comparison, a large bag of regular M&M's costs £2 at Asda and Sainsbury's while a treat bag is £1 - the lowest price at the four major supermarkets.
They're a limited edition launch and will only be available for a year - so it's worth stocking up if you love them.
And followers of the account were excited about the new launch.
Charlwatson said: "Omg!!!! Yasssss" while DaniKHart replied: "we need to try".
There was some confusion about the sweets as M&M's launched crunchy caramel packs earlier this year.
But the new versions are salted caramel rather than plain and they are smooth rather than crunchy.
Apparently the new arrivals are tastier too. The NewFoodsUK Instagram account confirmed: "They are a billion times better."
M&S has launched new Percy Pig fruit chews that look like gummy bears.
While Home Bargains has packs of the crunchy caramel M&Ms for just 29p.
And Cadbury has revealed its new Christmas range and it includes gingerbread bars and chocolate orange snowmen.
