Asda is selling hash brown waffles and they’re every breakfast-lover’s dream
FANS of a fry-up will be pleased to know that Birds Eye now does mini hash brown waffles and you can get your hands on them in store and online at Asda.
Potato lovers will have to be quick though as the 650g bag of will only be available at the bargain price of £2 until Wednesday July 17.
The new breakfast staple will then be priced at £2.50 – 50p more than the introductory price.
Birds Eye's carb filled treats are also suitable for any vegans at the table.
While the food retailer has the hash brown waffle market cornered for now, there are a variety of hash brown and waffle based products available.
If you’re not bothered about the shape, you can grab yourself a 625g bag of traditional McCain hash browns for £1.80
bag of own-brand hash browns for just £1.20 – 60p cheaper than Birds Eye’s hash brown waffles.
You can even buy a 500g bag of bite-sized hash brown
waffles in Tesco for just 35p more than their introductory hash brown counterparts.
Meanwhile, Asda’s 680g box of 12 potato waffles has been rolled back this month to just 90p –
For those struggling to tell the difference, Hash browns and waffles are made of the same stuff, but hash browns are a mass of shredded potato whereas a waffle tends to be more consistent pieces of potato.
