You can now get Oreos covered in Cadbury chocolate for the first time ever in shops
IF you're a fan of Oreo cookies and Cadbury chocolate then you're in luck because a treat combining the two is launching in shops for the first time ever.
The new Oreo Cadbury Coated is exactly what it sounds like – a regular Oreo cookie completely smothered in Cadbury’s famous milk chocolate.
The chocolate and cookie giant's owner Mondelēz International created the snack a few years ago, but it was at the time only available in Australia.
Luckily, the wait is now over for Brits as the treats have started rolling out in UK shops too.
The first packs landed in Tesco stores today, and they'll soon also roll out online.
Over the summer it'll also launch in all major supermarkets and retailers across the UK, although Cadbury hasn't been able to clarify an exact date.
These packs weigh 246g and they're currently reduced from £2.50 to £1.25, meaning they give you more chocolate for your bucks.
Joanna Dias, senior brand manager at Mondelēz International, said: "We’re thrilled to launch Oreo Cadbury Coated.
"We wanted to give our fans an even more delicious version of the much-loved cookie we all know so well and offer them a brand new eating experience."
Last summer, B&M started selling boxes of Cadbury coated Oreo cakes for £2.
The cookie giant also launched a hot chicken wing and wasabi flavour.
Meanwhile, Poundland has just become the first shop to sell three new Dairy Milk Cadbury bars.
