Krispy Kreme has launched its own Ice Kreme and it tastes just like doughnuts
KRISPY Kreme has just launched its very own doughnut flavoured "Ice Kreme" that tastes exactly like one of their signature doughnuts.
THIS is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill, Krispy Kreme now does ice cream and it tastes exactly like one of their signature doughnuts.
The American doughnut company announced the new sweet treat by posting an image to their UK Instagram account last night.
It was captioned: “As if we weren’t cool enough... Imagine… Ice Kreme that tastes just like our signature Original Glazed doughnuts…”
The kremey treat will be available from today and costs £1.95.
You'll also be able to drizzle either caramel or chocolate sauce onto your Ice Kreme, with the choice to add doughnut bites for £2.95.
Dough-nut worry if you can't face choosing between a doughnut or ice cream because you can combine the two.
This means ice cream will be piled on top of a glazed doughnut - it costs £3.50.
Despite the fact that Ice Kreme only launched today, it looks like ice cream lovers are already lining up.
Commenting on the picture of the treat one enthusiastic user said: "What!! Best day ever! I'm going to go after work."
While another exclaimed: "BEST. IDEA. EVER."
But it's not all good news - as the new sweet treat is only available in selected locations.
You'll be able to get your hands on one of these at these Krispy Kreme branches - Bluewater, Braehead, Bristol Avonmeads, Edinburgh Hermiston Gait, Enfield, Gateshead, Leeds Birstall, Manchester Trafford, Peterborough, Shannon Corner, Slough, Milton Keynes, Meadowhall, Southampton, Cardiff and Windsor.
We also asked about how many calories will be in the sweet treat and we'll update this article once we hear back.
Other fast-food outlets that have something cool on the menu include the iconic McFlurry from McDonalds which costs 99p.
KFC also has a Strawberry Sundae and Toffee Sundae for 99p.
