Aldi and Lidl slash Prosecco prices to just £4 a bottle
Aldi and Lidl slash Prosecco prices to just £4 a bottle - but are Tesco and Asda cheaper?
PROSECCO fans are in luck because both Aldi and Lidl have slashed the price of the sparkling favourite in a bid to have the cheapest bubbly on the market.
Aldi’s Castellore Prosecco Fizzante and usually cost £5.49 for a 75cl bottle.
But today, fizz fans can nab a bottle at either store for just £3.99.
As Prosecco fans will know, this isn’t the first time that Aldi has gone head-to-head on the price of Italian bubbly.
Earlier this year, Aldi cut the price of it’s Prosecco in a bid to out fizz Iceland.
So while we don't think this is the end of the battle of the budget supermarkets, you’ll need to be quick as the bottles are only available at both stores as long as stocks last.
If you miss out on the deal, then head to Tesco where a 75cl bottle of Bella Cucina Prosecco Frizzante will cost you just over a fiver at £5.75.
If all else fails, you can get a bottle , and, where a bottle of fizz is six quid.
If you've stocked up and you don't know what to do with all of the bubbles, Hawkin's Bazaar is selling Prosecco Ice Lolly moulds for £10.
Aldi also have your back if you want a glass of fizz on the move with these sparkling wines in a can.
